Krista’s practice is described as bespoke. The foundation of her training is Swedish Massage, however she will incorporate different modalities that she has learned along the way. She prefers to customize treatments to each client’s needs whether that includes deep tissue, sports massage or a relaxing rhythmic style combining petrissage with passive stretching and myofacial work to meet your needs.

LAMPROBE Flawless Skin

LAMPROBE is a non-invasive treatment of superficial minor skin irregularities (MSI) with limited client discomfort. Various sizes of probes precisely target the MSI using high frequency current and radio wave frequency without damaging surrounding tissue. Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning exfoliates the epidermis (the outer of the skin) while removing vellus hair. This treatment is completed by gently gliding a scalpel across the skin to remove dead skin cells and “peach fuzz”. Dermaplaning can help smooth scarring, reduce uneven skin tone, as well as minimize fine lines and wrinkles.

Lift, Sculpt & Release Face Massage

The noninvasive facial massage is Krista's signature offering. The massage will stimulate the facial muscles and restore the skin's elasticity whilst kickstarting lymphatic drainage, improving circulation, sinus pressure and promoting collagen production. Stress in the muscle inhibit movement of lymphatic fluid. Impaired blood flow causes less oxygen to the muscle and skin causing it to age and function less optimally. This massage will also increase the absorption capacity of skin care products. Facial muscles express joy, sorrow fear, anger and a multitude of other emotions. Sometimes those feelings can get imbedded into our face and can show up as a furrowed brow, clenched jaw or a downturn frown. We can unlock some of these embedded emotions and the manifestation on the face by releasing them with massage. The results are a softened expression, a lifted more awake and glowing appearance.

Krista Latreille R.M.T

Krista graduated from the College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2001. She continued her studies at The Wat Pho Thai Massage School in Bangkok in Traditional Thai Massage. Her inquisitiveness inspired her to travel and work internationally training other massage therapists at the award winning Silver Rain Spa at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. In 2009 she completed the Interdisciplinary Yoga Teacher Training in Nosara, Costa Rica and in the same year graduated from the Champlain Institute in Toronto where she studied Skin Histology and Medical Aesthetics. She moved to Ottawa in 2014 where she quickly established a loyal clientele with whom she shares her vast knowledge in wellness.
